FALLING FLAME PICTURES LAUNCHES
Company’s First Film ‘Scare Us’ Acquires Distribution Deal with Virgil Films & Entertainment.
PHOENIX (April 30, 2021) – Falling Flame Pictures, the production company based in Phoenix, Arizona announces today its first film, the horror anthology SCARE US has acquired a distribution deal with Virgil Films & Entertainment. The company was launched to take audiences on a journey through quality entertainment while utilizing exceptional local talent with a mix of Hollywood flair. “So often, filmmakers in cities outside Los Angeles and New York are not given opportunities to highlight their talents” said Jason Wiechert, CEO of Falling Flame Pictures. “Our company believes that quality filmmaking is done with the incredible collaboration of local storytellers with talented capabilities.”
The company’s first full length feature, SCARE US, has landed with Virgil Films & Entertainment and will be released on Virtual Cinema on May 21, 2021 with a VOD and DVD release on June 29, 2021.
The horror anthology is a twisted tale of terror told through a writer’s group in a small town plagued by a serial killer. Every week, the group’s assignment is to write a tale based on a specific genre. This week: Scare us! As each story is read, the horror unfolds as their biggest fears are uncovered.
“What’s interesting about Scare Us is that each story in the film has its own writer, director and filmmaking style” added Wiechert. “The audience is really getting five movies in one with something for every horror fan imaginable.”
